12/97 : I begun the final computation routine, used to display the preview.
2/98 : A lot of jobs have been done, the movement management is completed.
There is a snapshot to view - click on it to download a better quality
image (39 Kb).
3/98 :The zoom routine has been debuged and optimised: 26 cycles instead
of 34 by pixel.
3/98 : Mountain now handles transparency. A colour can be made transparent
to let the background appear, with the choice of a tolerance value:
3/98 :Third remodelling of the final computation routine, that's it this
time, slower but more complete and all the the tracks are supported.
3/98 : At last true editing!! The superimposition tracks are active, so you
can manipulate animations to your heart's content, due to the movements
and transparency options.
4/98 : Export is now supported thanks to a modular system. Note: This
option is only available to registered users.
4/98 : Export via M-Player for saving a MOV is handled, there's now just
some debugging to be done (done now!).
4/98 : The intensity management is progressing well, this allows two
animations to be mixed with a percentage to make ghostlike apparitions...
4/98 : Preview can be sized up or down regarding the project.
4/98 : All the interface buttons are now displayed using a vector font
(Speedo or NVDI), fonts are sometimes used for the interface itself.
Prettier, what do you think?
4/98 : A small window indicates the cursor position and allows a choice of
zoom.
4/98 : It is possible to edit the current project attributes (name,
size...) and even choose a new preview size.
5/98 : 2 export modules are available: The Suite export of TG1 (output in
several numbered TG1 pictures) and the FLH output module (at last!). The
quality of the FLH output can be set up and Mountain saves these parameters
with the project on its own. This advantage will be usable for all the
configurable export modules.
5/98 : A suite of pictures can be imported, i.e., a set of numbered
pictures (output from a raytracer, for instance) or coming directly from a
directory with sort by name, date, or without.
5/98 : An object from the project may be edited directly (movement,
transparency...) by double clicking on it within the tracks, more
convenient and faster.
6/98 : Enhancement of the time texts and marks.
6/98 : Better MagiC compatibility.
6/98 : New mono dithering Bayer like, which finally means Mountain works in
all resolutions! By the way, 246% acceleration of the 16 colours
dithering.
6/98 : It is possible to activate an animated preview by pressing 'Undo'.
6/98 : A Quicktime reading module, at last! Thanks to Didier Mequinion!
7/98 : Real free intensity setting (eg: for superimposition).
8/98 : TimeSplines ! At last ! Not completely implemented but quite usable.
8/98 : Some bugfixes.
8/98 : I hope this version work under MagicMac.
10/98 : Transitions ! It's a really big part of Mountain, with lots of possibilities.
